A fallen kingdom
we are drawn from the mud
in the depths of our own creation
for the nile meets the sand
where the gods once roamed this earth
ra once shined his golden light upon on us
and ruled our earth
but turned his back on us
as we turned our backs on him
Descending are the images of rotting bodies
falling to the depths of unconsciousness
a fallen kingdom swallowed by the sands
madness, corruption into a mass existence
open up dead minds
in a land where the river meets the sand
a fallen labyrinth where the gods once roamed
RA ones shined his light upon us
the golden light of the gods once brought us new life ...new life
the came from the stars and vanished as quick as they came
we are like pawns to this world
controlled by beings
from beyond the stars
programed to destroy
upon command
we but plaything

we crucify each other

Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis.

I dig this album so much, definitely a keeper. Subtly and masterfully mixing death metal subgenres, backed with an over the top production. They're true professionals. Can't wait for their next release!

First WTF was google music actually throwing something good into my feed. Second WTF was everything every goddamn member of this band does. This and the previous album have been on repeat for weeks. All other music tastes like diet water. Help.
